The Business Challenge
Stride operates across more than 80 locations nationally, supporting a complex network of clinicians, specialists, and allied health professionals.
Their existing clinical system, MasterCare, was not aligned with GP workflows, creating inefficiencies across the organisation. A decision was made to transition to Best Practice, requiring a highly coordinated national rollout, complete data migration, and minimal disruption to clinical services.
Given the scale and complexity, the project required a robust infrastructure, bespoke data handling, and structured change management.

Infrastructure Design & Build
A purpose-built server cluster was designed to support national scale. This included full installation and configuration of Best Practice, integration of third-party applications, and setup of clinic hardware across locations.
Digital Health Integration
Pathology systems were migrated and integrated into Best Practice. PKI certificates and secure messaging were configured to ensure compliance and secure communication across the network.
Bespoke Data Migration
In partnership with Byte IQ, a custom data migration pipeline was developed. This included extraction from MS SQL Server, data mapping, and XML generation for direct ingestion into Best Practice — ensuring complete accuracy and integrity of clinical records.
